The Musselmalet Gerippt series was the first of the Danish porcelain manufacturer Royal Copenhagen and went into production as early as 1775. To this day, the filigree pattern has lost none of its charm and remains one of the most popular porcelain designs in the world. In the 1880s, the pattern was revised by Arnold Krog. The fine floral tendrils in the typical cobalt blue are lovingly applied to the porcelain by hand, so that each piece is unique.
The plates of the Musselmalet Gerippt series are characterised by the delicate lace pattern and the slightly ribbed surface, which gives the tableware a special feel. The plates are suitable for everyday use as well as for special occasions.
