Hay - Ella Sofa Table

The sofa table Ella is made of two elements: one table plate and a long, connected tube. The tube is made of stainless steel and forms the table base, and with that an endless, continued connection between table plate and floor.

Because of the connection between wooden table plate and steeling base, does the table seem lightly and the plate as if it would fly or float. The simplicity is also emphasised because of the base which gets thinner to the floor.

That the coeval Scandinavian designer revives the tradition of the 50s and 60s, belongs to the Rolf Hay's opinon, who is responsable with its studio Hay for the design of Ella. The perfect balance of Scandinavian tradition and modernism stand for the whole collection of the Danish manufacturer from Horsens.

The sofa table Ella is also available on request in the versions stainless steel/black. And Ella can be delivered with black or white base.
