The Studio Chair by Normann Copenhagen convinces with its floating lines and graphic design. Simon Legald was inspired for his studio series by old French factory chairs. This gives the seating furniture an industrial reference.
The construction of veneer and tubular steel attracts all eyes and yet appears so simple. The slender steel frame literally grows out of the seat and backrest, creating spaces that make the seat shell seem to float. Its frame is reminiscent of line drawings or pictograms that airily frame the seat.
The chair is made of a four-legged steel frame with a seat shell made of oak or ash veneer. The shell is available in different colours, so that the chair adapts well to any ambience. The multifunctional Studio chair series is designed for use in private and public spaces. All models are stackable, making the series suitable for restaurants and educational institutions, for example.
