A56 Armrest Chair by Tolix in Colour
The A56 Chair by Tolix was designed in 1956 by Jean Pauchard. It is an extended version of the A Chair by his father Xavier Puchard, founder of the Tolix company, who created timeless seating with chairs made of steel sheet.
The thin side rods from the backrest of the A Chairs are pulled forward on the A56 model to become armrests, ensuring comfortable sitting.
Sturdy, Stackable and Durable
The A56 armchair is a French sheet steel chair by Tolix made using car body construction.
It is exceptionally resilient and robust as well as stackable, making it easy to store. The A56 steel chair is available in different colours and with three finishes: matt, glossy and structured and adapts to any environment.
Thanks to the different lacquering, the A56 chair by Tolix is also available in an outdoor version for the garden.
