Elegant and at the same time casual 2-seater sofa
The Bastiano sofa by Knoll was designed in 1962 by Tobia Scarpa, who back then - at the beginning of the 1960s - wanted to create a contemporary sofa that is both sophisticated and elegant as well as casual and comfortable. With this idea, Knoll created today's Bastiano sofa more than 55 years later, which was adapted to our modern, domestic environment. The 2-seater is wider and simpler in design than its predecessor from the 1960s, but is based on the elegant design language of the Scarpa sofa.
Solid Iroko frame
The frame of the sofa is made of solid Iroko wood with a transparent protective varnish, with the underside of the seat reinforced by steel strips. The seat, back and arm cushions have a variable foam core with polyester fiber wrapping and down filling. The covers are available in different colors and materials, which means that the sofa can be optimally adapted to every taste.
In addition to the sofa, the Bastiano series also includes alounge chair, which is an ideal addition to the 2-seater by Knoll.
