Serving tray with floral pattern
The Sarjaton tray from the collection of the same name by Iittala is decorated with a graphic pattern by the illustrator Lotta Olsson. An imaginative and colorful floral pattern on a tray to serve beverage or simply serve as a decoration itself.
The floral design topic that covers the Sarjaton tray was created by the illustrator Lotta Olssen. Inspired by the diverse beauty of the Scandinavian landscape, the graphic designs show imanginative blossoms, trees and leaves in an ethnic style:
“I am very fascinated by trees. One little leaf can be an art piece, and a naked tree in the winter is like a sculpture. Nature is wild and free and, to me, it is about shapes and visual details, not systems or a scientific approach. When I create a tree, only my fantasy creates the borders.”Lotta Olsson
Resistant and easy to clean
The Iittala tray is made of robust ply wood and is finished with a protective glaze. In order to preserve the surface avoid placing vessels on the tray that are hotter than 40 degrees. To clean the tray use a damp cloth for wiping only. The tray will last beautiful for a long time this way.
As a part of the Sajaton collection by Iittala the tray matches perfectly with its dishes and cups, but also with other kinds of china ware. Also in our blog:
