The Steelwood series from Magis is understood as reaction to the great trend of plastic furniture. To prove that it is also possible with other materials, modern Steelwood furniture was created.

What has been strictly guarded in the case of the Steelwood chairs has only been lightly touched by the world famous design brothers Bouroullec at the table: because metal is only a connecting element between frame and top for the table – the connections of the Steelwood table play a dominant role in the construction.

The frame itself (also the legs and cross members) are still made out of massive beech wood, according to regulations. These are available in a natural colour (on demand) as well as black or white lacquered. The table top consists of robust HPL laminate.

The result is a timeless table that knows how to convince, especially in combination with the Steelwood chairs.
