Novoform - FLight 35 Pendant Lamp

The pendant lamp was created to harmonize with the light. The pendant lamp appears as kit for self-assembly by the Danish manufacturer Novoform and after a design from the designer Bjarne Urhammer. FLight 35 is more a light sculpture than a simple lamp and it supports the characteristics of the escaping light.

The FLight 35’s sheets hide the E27 illuminant inside of it, but still allowing the light to shine outward unhindered. The light shines through the sheets while it simultaneously trespasses the white material transforming FLight 35 into a radiant sculpture.

The Novoform pendant lamp’s shades consist of a special lamp shade-foil out of PVC that doesn’t attract any powder. The lamp’s shade consists of 35 single sheets that can be connected without any problems with an uncomplicated closing mechanism. To explain the assembly there are written and DVD instructions included in the delivery package. Also the necessary mounting material is included.

The terminated shade can be removed from the lamp whenever you want, without any problems and without damaging the electronics. The lamp shade can be cleaned with a cloth or feather duster as well as briefly showered.

The interior construction from FLight 35 leads the bulb’s heat away from the lamp shade so that the white material doesn’t loose its colour. We suggest an E27 illuminant with max. 60 Watt for the lamp to run.

The design of the FLight lamp was coined by Bjarne Urhammer. The sheets design ornaments a total of three pendant lamps: FLight 28, 35 and 55. The single lamps differ by the number of sheets, that means that also their size and complexity of the shade. Novoform produces the lamps directly in Denmark.
