Hallingdal was already designed in 1965 by Nanna Ditzel. The fabric out of the Kvadrat house became especially famous by its resistance and the very large colours selection since then.
Hallingdal is the best seller in the Kvadrat program until today. Nearly everyone has already had contact with Hallingdal – the fabric meanwhile became a classic example. A known equipment in public rooms, in hospitals, schools and private homes.
Hallingdal consists of 70% pure new wool and 30% viscose. This composition makes the fabric extremely robust: 100,000 Martindale promise very long enjoyment of the classic by Kvadrat. The environment friendliness is even awarded: The EU honoured Hallingdal with the “Eco Flower”.
The Greenguard Environmental Institute proved that the air quality inside of rooms isn’t impaired by this fabric. Hallingdal can be cleaned with a dry cloth, steam or perchlorate and ironed by medium temperature.
