Bower is a contemporary design studio in New York City, founded in 2013 by Danny Giannella and Tammer Hijazi. While Danny studied industrial design at the Rhode Iceland School of design, Tammer has an extensive knowledge in the field of wood technology and design itself.

The common design Studio is a venue for experiments - the goal is to create unique and unexpected objects. The designers find their inspiration in different items or situations - such as nature, where they observe animals or plants, or such as toys of their childhood, adding completely new functions to them.

The name of their design studio "Bower" incidentally comes from the Bowerbird, a male bird. This one builds a beautiful and striking Bower to the mating season.
