Vicente García Jiménez and Cinzia Cumini founded their studio García Cumini Associati in Udine (Italy) in 2012, where they connect their long years of experience of product development and communication. The multidisciplinary team covers a wide range of services this way: from the object design in its most varied forms, over the artistic design of installations, up to the presentation of products and companies, as well as art director activities and graphic designs for corporate image and communication projects.
Presenting mood, feelings, art, objects or companies the way they will be able to enchant, to offer a look to an intuition or a poetic thought... These elements characterize the studio García Cumini Associati together with high demands on functionality and quality. Thereby their aim is the uniqueness of each product, room, experience - whether working on products, stagings, a catalogue or a brand.
The basis for this philosophy is the successful combination of two cultures, the Italian and the Spanish, where creativity, beauty and joy of life are core values. A typical Mediterranean access to their own work as designers, which includes all areas, with an attentive eye for new technologies, forms of artistic expression, developments in society and the market.
Although no doubt a young Studio, García Cumini Associati already collaborated with companies of the most different areas, such as Cesar Cucine, Fambuena, Foscarini, future concept lab, JTI / Japan Tobacco international, Karboxx, Lunardelli, Mido, Pallucco Italia, Sofia Doors and Tacchini.
Vicente García Jiménez graduated in technical engineering, branch of study industrial design at the Faculty of experimental sciences of Castellón de la Plana and began wrking as a product developer in the area of lighting and interiors in Barcelona. His further career took him to Milan and Udine, where he opened his private Studio in 2005. He participated in numerous exhibitions in Europe, China and Japan and received several important awards: XXII Compasso D ' Oro - honorable mention, Elle Decor designer of the year (Spain) 2011, ADI design index 2010 (project infinity), Elle Decor Young talent designers (Spain) 2009, designer's Saturday 2008 (best space design).
Cinzia Cumini graduated from the Conservation of cultural goods with social philosophical alignment at the University of Udine, in her thesis, she analyzed the importance of industrial design in modern society. Then, she concentrated on the selection of products and suppliers of the international design scene, with a focus on emerging companies. In the course of this activity, she attended the largest international trade fairs and in this context, dealt with issues such as design of outlets selling and relationships between product and consumer.
