Classic wooden chair from the 60s

The Result chair was originally designed in 1958 by Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld in the Netherlands. The matching Pyramid collection followed one year later. For the new edition Hay cooperates with Ahrend, the original manufacturer of the furniture.

Steel + wood: chair with industrial charm

To do justice to the organic shape of the frame, sheet steel was bent. An innovative process at the time, which was celebrated as a success. Lightness and stability could be combined in this way. In the re-edition, the frame of the cult piece of furniture is also made of bent sheet steel. With a seat and backrest made of oak veneer, the chair appears inviting, despite its industrial flair. Optionally, the chair is also available with an upholstered seat with fabric and leather covers in various colours.

School chair for the living area

For many Dutch people, this chair has a very special meaning. Because of its functional design, schools all over the country were equipped with these chairs in the 60s and 70s. Result schools were equipped with these chairs.

"The Result -chair has character and can be used much more universally than just in classrooms" , explains Rolf Hay , founder of the design brand of the same name. It was developed for different areas and can be used flexibly.

Matching dining table

It comes in different variations. Together with the Result The matching Pyramid collection, consisting of benches and tables, has also been relaunched.
