Series 7 – A Timeless Classic
The series 7, which was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1955, is meanwhile one of the top-selling seating in the world. The chair still delights with its reserved appearance and the functional versatility.
Functional and Versatile
Thanks to its seat shell made of pressed veneer the Series 7 chair is especially light, but at the same time stable. The classic chair by Arne Jacobsen is also easily stackable and therefore functional in living rooms as well as in conference rooms, waiting halls or studying rooms.
The Series 7 chair is produced – according to the original designs of Arne Jacobsen – by Fritz Hansen today. Thereby the classic piece appears in many different colours and material combinations. The softly swung seat is available in a natural wood look, with a cushioned seat or in different colours.
Lacquered or Glazed
The coloured model is produced in two different editions: With a coloured, glazed seat of ash veneer, which keeps the natural wooden grain of the chair visible, or as painted edition, which covers the seat of the Series 7 with a silky lacquer, offering a monochromatic look to the chair.
The Series 7 by Arne Jacobsen deserves to belong to the classic chairs of furniture history, since the different modules, colours and bases offer many individual configurations, adapted to everyone. The chair is available in further colours and with different bases and cushions in here on demand. Also in our blog:
