Seals from oak wood
The wooden seal from Spring Copenhagen was actually a polar bear in the beginning. However, in the middle of the process, the boat builder Chresten Sommer rather saw the head of a female seal and so he decided to continue with the body of a seal. Whiskers and fins at the end and the wooden seal was ready. For his seal, the designer was strongly inspired by the wooden figures of Kay Bojesen and thus follows a Danish and Nordic design tradition that integrates wooden animals as decoration in the living room.
Mama seal and baby seal together
The seal is made of oak wood and has a movable head. Its rough and simple look is perfectly complemented by its more childlike aesthetic expression. This makes the curious seal look good on shelves, window sills and side tables, delighting children and adults alike.
In addition to the female seal, a baby seal is also available, which completes the small ensemble in a cute way. Placed next to each other, unexpected possibilities for interaction between the two seals arise. Both together create a playful eye-catcher in every room and bring Danish tradition and craftsmanship into your own four walls.
