The Seireeni Tray of the Finnish manufacturer Marimekko inspires with its decorative design. The small oval tray is made of laminated birch plywood and decorated with the large-scale Seireeni -pattern.
It is recommended to wipe the tray with a damp cloth or wash it by hand. Please do not soak.
Dynamic siren motif
Maija Isola was inspired by the movements of water during her travels in Greece in the early 1960s. Seireeni (German: Sirene) dates from 1964 and is based on the sirens of Greek mythology. Accordingly, the pattern recalls the enchanting song, which lured sailors into dangerous waters.
