Floral carpet made of 100% wool
For the Flora Backyard Rug from nanimarquina , one of artist Santi Moix's striking floral works was transferred to a rug. As the name suggests, the rug shows the natural space behind a house with a wilder flora. The flowers are therefore depicted very jumbled and oversized. The delicate lines in low relief of the rug are meant to reflect Moix's pencil sketches.
The large floral Backyard rug makes a wonderful cozy rug under the coffee table in the living room or under the table in the dining room. Also placed in the middle of the room, the colorful rug becomes an eye-catcher and provides a pleasant contrast in the room.
Made from Indian virgin wool
The carpets in the Flora collection are made of 100% virgin wool. It comes from India and is also produced in the same place. This reduces nanimarquina 's environmental impact. Traditionally, wool is the most widely used material for carpets. In addition to its function as a heat and sound insulator, wool is also hypoallergenic, easy to care for and 100% biodegradable.
