Calendar Candle by Jette Frölich
The highly detailed ornate calendar candle of Holmegaard was designed by designer Jette Frölich. The candle approaches the 24th mark little by little when daily lit - that’s how the time until Christmas passes especially comfortable. From the 1st to the 24th of December the Holmegaard calendar candle can be lit. The timeline on the side marks the countdown for probably the most longed for day of the year. This way the candle becomes a special advent calendar or an alternative to the traditional advent wreath.
Fairy-Tale Christmas Collection
This year, the Holmegaard Christmas Collection focuses on one of the most beautiful fairy tales written by Hans Christian Andersen: "The Fir-Tree" from 1845.
Decorated Christmas Trees and Winter Forest Scenes
The tale describes the story of a tree. During his growing up in the forest, the tree is often overlooked. The fir tree is experiencing his first joyous Christmas Eve as beautifully decorated Christmas tree in the room with the reflection of the candles placed on its branches in the eyes of children and adults.
The products from the Christmas collection 2016 are accordingly adorned with decorated Christmas trees and winter scenes in the forest, representing the tale in a narrative way.
