The Plane double bed that Felix Stark designed for Müller Small Living unifies form and function perfectly. The bed elates with its harmonic and graphic form language and offers various practical details.

The double bed has a 75 cm high head end and double buffer storage on both sides. On its upper end, there is a deposit station for bedside lamps and an alarm clock, whilst beneath this there is more room for books and so.

The Plane double bed has a center support with a height adjustable foot. The fittings for the slatted frame bearing are adjustable for 4 heights. Roll frames do not fit, but bordered, slatted frames. The bed is delivered in pieces.

Swung Forms with Soft Edges

The light, rolling form combined with soft Finnish birch boards gives natural warmth to the Plane bed. Rolling outlines, apparent boards and monochromatic areas make attractive contrasts. The flat and full form gives the bed its name.

With its oiled and soft border, the Finnish plywood is available in black and white. The bed consists of an 18 mm strong birch multiplex board with a melamine resin coating and a white covering or a black translucent covering. The board is naturally oiled.

With or Without Bedding Box

Müller Small Living's Plane double bed is available in several sizes. The optional bed frame is easily to introduce into the lower bed end and offers much space for pillows and coverings. The box is also usable for bench and storage.
