The stylish way of being tidy comes from Berlin. Francesco Apuzzo and Irina Jurasic have designed an elegant shelf to hold your documents, whose presence is in its own absence. Your documents seem to hang on the wall as if held up by an invisible hand. This is how it works:
A 1.5 mm thick steel sheet is folded to make a stable shape. The folded sheet’s geometry forms a shadow gap to the wall and this makes a virtually invisible fastening possible. The shelf elements are simply hung on two height-adjustable mountings and with 5 ring binders on them they “disappear into thin air”
