Side table by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus, Thonet reissues the MR 515 side table by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The architect probably designed the side table as early as 1928 for the Esters and Lange houses he created in Krefeld.
In reinterpreting the table, designers Marcel Besau and Eva Marguerres from Studio Besau Marguerre have been close to the original, skilfully highlighting the elegance of the furniture. Functionality and aesthetics are in no way inferior and make the table a stylish classic.
The tubular steel frame is particularly cleverly crossed under the glass tabletop and is available in various chrome-plated or lacquered finishes. In addition, the table is optionally equipped with a second level, which offers even more storage space. To this day, the MR 515 side table has lost none of its Bauhaus charm and sets timeless classical accents in every ambience.
