The idea for the Nappula candleholder was born when designer Matti Klenell visited the Glass Museum in Nuutajärvi and fell in love with an unusually shaped table. Inspired by the distinctive and distinctive design of the table, Klenell created a series of modern candleholders: Nappula was born!
The naming of Iittala's candleholder can be interpreted in many different ways, as the word nappula has different meanings in Finnish, ranging from a push button or button in user interfaces, to tokens or figures in board games, to the name of a child.
The Nappula candleholder from Iittala is available in several sizes and in different colour versions. Nappula combines classic elements with modern influences and offers, depending on the design, from a small candleholder to a 6-armed candelabra , the right candlestick for almost every occasion and ambience.
