A kelim is a woven carpet that adorns the walls and floors in Southwest Asia since thousands of years. Ferm Living was inspired by these textiles when designing the Kelim rugs, in two ways: The rugs from ferm Living are made in a weaving technique as are their role models. And typical not only of a Kelim, but also for ferm Living: the inspiring geometric patterns.
The pattern of the Kelim rug "Colour Triangles" consists of triangle and rectangular shapes in various colours. The significant, graphic pattern of the rug and the colour scheme add versatility to it. It's a classically manufactured rug which is timeless and elegant at the same time and easily adapts to any room and interior.
The Kilim rugs from ferm Living are made by hand, which is why each rug is unique. The weaving technique is called "Punja" and is one of the oldest weaving techniques in the world.
The ferm Living rugs with their geometric pattern are real floor decoration pieces. Coming in different sizes, the rugs are suitable for a wide variety of living spaces: As a rug in front of the sofa, bed or for the corridor.
