When the mono-a cutlery came on the market in 1959 it revolutionised the cutlery world as it avoided all decorative elements. mona-a was designed by Prof. Peter Raacke and presented the consistent application of industrial design.
mono-a was punched out of a single piece of stainless steel, a so-called monoblock; which is where the name comes from. Today the knife consists of two kinds of steel: the handle is made of rustproof stainless steel, the blade of high-quality hardened steel.
Then it was still avant-garde, mono-a has become a tableware classic in the meantime: it combines elegant design with the highest processing quality.
Numerous awards and exhibitions at home and abroad have popularised mono-a. Today it is considered to be the most sold German design cutlery of the post-war era.
You can find the cutlery which makes serving at the breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper table easier and turns every meal into a feast under mono-a Serving Cutlery.
