The bushel board from Auerberg is a nearly poetic design based on the traditional bushel. With its large radius in the board’s surface, the Bushel Board is almost a poetic quote of the traditional bushel, which used to be an essential tool in any household.
Slightly Curved Surface
The slightly curved top allows you to prepare ingredients of any kind on it and then to pour the cut food the pot without spilling it to the sides. Another idea is to offer small snacks and appetizers on the woden board.
Board Series
The board is certainly one of the most commonly used items in any kitchen - but not all boards are the same. And because kitchen, dining and living room become more and more a joint living space, a kitchen board is more than a mere cutting board. Tobias Lugmeier put some thought into it and designed a family of three boards, which in their basic form are the same, but which differ in their function.
The board is made from oak wood treated with linseed oil. In addition to the bushel board there is a meat chopping board and a tray board, all in the same style.
