Since 1964 the Kastehelmi -series by Oiva Toikka has stood for outstanding Scandinavian design. Iittala is to thank for the fact that the Kastehelmi plates are now available again.

Legendary design enriches every meal from now on: the Kastehelmi plates from Iittala have, like all Kastehelmi -designs by Oiva Toikka, the plates from Iittala have the characteristic drop shape on the outside. These drops beautifully bring out the vibrant, reflective beauty of the glass. Because of the embossing, the Kastehelmi design plates are great to touch and also look fantastic.

In the 1960s, Oiva Toikka tried to find a way to hide the seams in pressed glass. So he came up with the idea of placing small glass drops on the seams. His experiment developed into a completely new design, which has now been reissued by Iittala. The Kastehelmi Plates are an enrichment for your interior at any time and for any occasion.
