Earthenware plate from the iconic Ildpot series
In the 1970s, the Ildpot series was welcomed by FDB Møbler as a completely new type of cookware series in Danish households. Previously, women had entered the labour market, which changed the way food was cooked and served. The products in the Ildpot series could be taken directly from the freezer to the oven and then to the dining table. This made the preparation of dinner both easier and more manageable. The renowned Danish designer and architect Grethe Meyer was behind the design.
Now FDB is relaunching this iconic stoneware range in the form of drinking cups , plates and serving bowls . And the products continue to impress with their durability and resistance. The dishes are suitable for the oven and grill as well as the freezer and microwave. In addition, it impresses with its natural earthenware surface and the design with its reduced attention to detail, which you can immediately see from its careful production.
Different sizes
The Ildpot plates are available in different sizes, so they are just as suitable for a small breakfast as for festive meals with the whole family. They can also be stacked to save space.
