Shiny plate with bean pattern
The Alku Plate from Marimekko is made of brown stoneware and has an exceptionally glossy glaze, which gives the plate a great, high-quality look. Moreover, the inside of the plate is adorned by the minimalist Alku -Pattern (beginning) adorned, a motif reminiscent of beans. It is meant to represent seeds that will one day grow into magnificent, vigorous flowers.
This plate is equipped with a high rim, which allows for safe serving of salad, rice and pasta dishes. But thanks to its beautiful shine, it can also be used as a decorative tray for fruit or sweets.
