Tray made of birch
The tray is made of laminated birch plywood and features the classic Joiku motif from Marimekko . It can be used for serving purposes or for displaying beautiful decorative elements. In order to preserve the product characteristics and the high-quality look, we recommend cleaning the tray with a damp cloth.
The Joiku print conveys a powerful, calming experience of nature. The pattern reflects the beauty of a pure natural landscape with a variety of colors in the evening or early in the morning, just before sunrise.
Joiku embodies a ritual used to describe the seeds natural phenomena onomatopoeically. This traditional musical form is a component of shamanistic beliefs and the namesake of the pattern designed by Aino-Maija Metsola in 2008.
