Placemat made from recycled leather
The Square S placemat from LindDNA is a Scandinavian style placemat. The base made of recycled leather is water and dirt resistant and can be easily cleaned with a cloth or glass cleaner. The mat is simple and decorative at the same time and can be combined with the matching glass coasters.
Old leather shoes and new design
The leather used at LindDNA comes from leather scraps left over from the production of bags, shoes and other items of clothing. Cut into small pieces and then rejoined with natural rubber, the leather is an environmentally friendly and resource-saving alternative to conventional leather. Thanks to its 20% rubber content, the recycled LindDNA leather is particularly robust, water- and dirt-repellent and easy to clean.
The underlay is available in the Core variant: here, no two pieces are the same, as the recycled leather used retains its original, individual colour.
