The Alku Bowl from Marimekko is made of brown stoneware and has an exceptionally glossy glaze, which gives the bowl a great, high-quality look. Moreover, its exterior is adorned by the minimalist Alku -Pattern (beginning) adorned, a motif reminiscent of beans. It is meant to represent seeds that will one day grow into gorgeous, vibrant flowers.

This bowl is available in different designs. Depending on its size, it is perfect as a serving dish for salads, rice and pasta dishes or desserts. But it can also be used as a decorative fruit bowl thanks to its beautiful shine.
