The simple shape of the Elane table lamp and its noble effect are the expression of ingenious high performance: An extremely flat electric transformer works inside of its thin socket which seems to be floating. The light is spread diffusely on its laterals and directly downwards. On and off switches are dimmable stepless via a rotation switch with only one hand.
Elane’s slim polynomial arm with its 90° bending is a micro-organic strength-wonder, which is exactly led into the desired direction by means of the friction of its joints. The bright shade has a seamless surface out of textile-laminated polycarbonate.
The German architect Jakob Timpe, founder of the jts+o design studio in Berlin, created this timeless table lamp, which impressively connects design and technique. Elane is also available as reading lamp with a monomial arm.
