Modular 551 table lamp from Midgard
The original design of the Modular 551 table lamp from Midgard was made by Curt Fischer. With the Modular luminaires, he created a functional and at the same time elegant series of luminaires that can be easily integrated into any living environment.
Maintenance-free joints
A special feature of the Midgard TYP 500 and TYP 550 modular luminaire series are the maintenance-free joints. Curt Fischer had found a way to prevent the steering arm screws from loosening - even when moving frequently - and thus from having to be retightened.
Made in Germany
The lights are manufactured completely and including all individual parts in Germany using the old original tools as well as the original techniques: The die-cast aluminium joints and the hand-pressed umbrellas are now assembled in Hamburg.
