The Crate fire basket from höfats is a new interpretation of the Beer Box fire basket from höfats. While a beer crate was a source of inspiration for the Beer Box, the Crate basket is more reminiscent of a wine or fruit crate. The conventional material of such boxes, wood, has been replaced by high-quality Corten steel in the Crate basket. The result is a multifunctional product that can be used as a wooden crate, fire basket, stool, grill and wine or fruit crate.
The Corten steel fire basket is the perfect companion for outdoor activities. For an excursion to the lake, drinks, firewood and barbecue food can be transported in the crate to the excursion destination. Crate is effortlessly turned into a grill for sausages, meat, vegetables, etc. with the matching grill grid. After barbecuing, the firewood box provides a campfire atmosphere and with a bamboo support board, the fire bowl can be transformed into a practical stool or a small side table with just one movement.
