Chair with seat shell inspired by the plant leaf
"Inspiration from nature and modern comfort for a complete collection" - this is how the manufacturer Arper describes the idea behind its collection Leaf . The result is a furniture group that gives a new shape to the essential and finds its place everywhere, at home or outside.
The Italian company has distinguished itself for years by consistently creating perfect quality in harmony with environmental awareness and a respectful use of resources. Consequently, the name says it all: " Leaf ", meaning "leaf", is the name of the weatherproof steel furniture that radiates an unobtrusive lightness.
Ergonomic and award-winning
The chair in the series by designer Lievore Altherr Molina is available in two different versions: the stackable version with the wider legs and the non-stackable, narrower version with the legs converging in the middle. The ergonomic shape makes the chair surprisingly comfortable. In the summer of 2006 Arper introduced the series to the market and in the same year it was awarded the Grand Designs UK Award.
The steel frame is also available on request in the colours mocha and green as well as chrome-plated. The furniture can also be complemented with cushions made of polyurethane for outdoor use (decor that echoes the leaf motif of the metal frame) and full-grain leather (various colours) for indoor use.
