The design of the Luxembourg table passes on all superfluous details and impresses by the apparent tradition and the simple forms. The inspiration and name of the garden furniture collection come from the magnificent garden “Jardin de Luxembourg” in Paris or rather the garden furniture that can be found there.
The new interpretations from the year 2004 may reveal the classic model, but appear at the same time contemporary and timeless. The clear and purist design of the Luxembourg collection suggests only a little of the grandeur of the historical castle gardens, which inspired the designer Frédéric Sofia to his design.
