Square planter with thick rim
Just as long as it is wide, the Quadratische presents itself: The shape of the planter The Quadratische from amei is reminiscent of a flat fruit crate or a high-walled tray, but enchants with its thick-walled border.
The flat silhouette of amei's square pots makes them ideal for decorating sideboards and counters, showcasing Easter and Christmas decorations or finding a place on the kitchen counter as a compact herb garden. By the way: You can use amei planters immediately for your indoor plants, they do not need a water drainage hole.
Robust Stonefiber
Amei Planters are naturally beautiful and exceptionally robust. They are made of the technically sophisticated composite material Stonefiber - a mixture of polyester resin and ground stone, with additional strands of fibreglass inserted to achieve a particularly high level of stability.
On the one hand, the amei pots fascinate with their high-quality mineral look, which in the black models develops a natural, grey patina after a few months. On the other hand, Stonefiber is shock and frost resistant. The pots can therefore withstand minor falls, tipping over during storms and wintering outdoors generally unscathed. In direct comparison to stone or clay pots, they score with a significantly reduced weight due to the lower material thickness, which makes handling easier.
If you use the amei planters outside and they stand there unprotected in the rain, please make water drainage holes in the bottom of the pot with a drill and a standard masonry drill, otherwise there is a risk of root rot due to stagnant moisture collecting in the pot.
More details:
We would like to point out that small traces on the surface, unevenness and a slight fading of the material are part of the natural and intended properties of the Stonefiber material. All amei planters are individually handmade, so that it comes to such traces due to production. However, these can be easily removed with a little household oil or shoe polish.
