Cotton shopping bag with wave pattern
With the cotton bag from Marimekko in the Lokki Pergola design you are stylish even when shopping. Due to its material, it can be easily stored in other bags, but takes up little space. The tote bags are sewn across the entire width of the fabric, so their appearance may vary slightly. Each piece is therefore deliberately unique.

Pattern with history
The Lokki Pergola pattern combines two dynmaic Maija Isola designs from the 1960s.
The idea for the Lokki (seagull) pattern came to Maija Isola when she was looking at a window with a curtain drawn in front of it. The sun was shining and the wide folds of the curtain formed wavy shadows on the curtain's fabric. Maija had a sudden intuition: when a fabric is printed with waves, even a small piece of such fabric looks lushly folded.
