Cotton linen blend pillowcase with plant pattern
This pillowcase is part of the Pienet Elokuun Varjot series from Marimekko . It edges on cotton linen cover a summer wild plant design. The product features a concealed zipper on the side. The pillowcases are sewn across the full width of the fabric, so their appearance may vary slightly from the product images. Each piece is unique.
The designer Maija Louekari was inspired by her own overgrown garden for the motif Elokuun varjot (in German: Augustschatten) 2020. Louekari is fascinated by the changing seasons of the north - the new beginnings and lush growth that follows year after year. This pattern is an ode to greenery, freedom and warm winds.
