This is what we call good sound: The Urania mobile audio amplifier from Holmegaard amplifies the sound of mobile phones while it features a unique design.

The Urania mobile audio amplifier was designed by Aric Snee. With it, the designer created a low-tech accessory, which amplifies without technology. Therefore the amplifier has an unmistakable design of mouth-blown glass, which searches for equals in every kind of furnishing.

Glass amplifier as ultimate low-tech accessory

An acoustic improvement and reinforcement of the sound is noticeable. The glass amplifier is ideally adapted to be used for Skype or other video communication methods. It is also suitable to enjoy music, since the construction with two opposite holes of Urania improves the sound volume in every room.

The Urania mobile audio amplifier was designed for the iPhone 4, 5 and 6. But the glass amplifier is also adapted to be used with all the other mobile phones with a max. width of 67 mm and 9,3 mm of depth, which have their loudspeakers at the bottom.

looks good, even without a mobile phone

Automatically translated from German

the amp was a gift for my nephew to graduate from high school. Until then he had always made his own amplifiers (from beverage cans, etc.). These also fulfilled their purpose, but for the Wg room at the beginning of the study it should become more stylish. The Holmegaard amplifier not only looks good on the shelf, but also serves its purpose because the sound of the music and even audio books are audibly better. Not comparable with a very good loudspeaker, but for in-between use. When it's not in use, the amplifier looks good even without a mobile phone, and most puzzle over what kind of "work of art" it is on the shelf until it makes sense to them.
