Organically shaped polyethylene armchair
The Orgone Chair was designed in 1993 by Marc Newson. The original design comes from a limited series of aluminium furniture designed by Newson in his Paris studio "Pod". A plastic variant suitable for mass production followed after only a short time.
Today the Orgone Chair is produced by the German company Löffler and is made of polyethylene. The organically shaped armchair can be used both indoors and outdoors. The solid-coloured plastic is produced in one piece using a complex rotational technology process.
Marc Newson is one of the most internationally recognized and successful designers. His Orgone Chair - open at the top and bottom - in a soft-flowing, organic design, is already one of the design classics. The cult object can also be seen in numerous internationally renowned design museums. Despite or even because of its organic structure, the Orgone Chair is ergonomic and extremely comfortable.
The Orgone Chair by Marc Newson is available in different colours.
