For the Hyg Chair front upholstery by Norman Copenhagen, designer Simon Legald has taken inspiration from the DNA of Danish hygge and created an object with gentle lines and enveloping contours. Hygge means security, warmth and comfort - and so the Hyg chair also stands for happy moments in which you can enjoy yourself.

Thanks to its upholstered seat shell, Hyg is not only the ideal seat for kitchen and dining tables, but can also be used in offices, conference rooms and even restaurants. Long hours at the table become pure joy thanks to Hyg - just Hygge.

Steel frame and cotton-flax mix

Norman Copenhagen produces the Hyg Chair Hyg is made of a powder-coated steel frame and a polypropylene shell. The upholstery is covered with a fabric from the manufacturer Camira, which consists of soft cotton and flax.

Hyg is available in different colours.
