The Van Gogh pixel motif by IXXI is one of the most famous self portraits by the Dutch painter. Vincent Van Gogh painted 40 self portraits in his life. IXXI chose his last painting for the pixel version.
The original of this abstract version was painted in 1889 in Arles, France and is now displayed in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
The Pixel Series by IXXI is contemporary wall art based on world-famous paintings, Disney and Star Wars characters and Hollywood stars. The pixelated images look particularly impressive in the large format and can decorate any room from the children’s bedroom to a hotel lobby.
The subject is printed on Synaps—a high-grade synthetic 300 gsm paper with a mat appearance, characterised by waterproof, tear-resistant and UV-resistant properties. The cards are connected to each other with the provided crosses. They are then fixed to the wall thanks to the included hanging strips and adhesive Tesa Powerstrips - no tools or annoying drilling necessary. The cards can be easily replaced or more can be added.
Banana Leaf by IXXI is available in different sizes.
