Yellow Fish by IXXI is an extraordinary illustration of a Kurtus Indicus, also known as a perch. The drawing is from an ichthyology book by Marcus Élieser Bloch about the general and specific natural history of fish. Bloch (1723-1799) was a German physician and naturalist from Berlin who is generally considered one of the most important ichthyologists of the 18th century.
