The minimalist cups from Design Letters are suitable both for enjoying the morning espresso, as children's cups, tea light holders or planters for mini plants and other small things.
The striking numbers that adorn the cups were designed in 1937 by the Danish designer Arne Jacobsen. Originally used for the internal lettering of the Aarhus Town Hall, the letters, numbers and symbols now adorn a variety of home textiles, tableware and office utensils from Design Letters. Modern and playful design for word acrobats, graphic and design lovers.
Like all the porcelain mugs in the Arne Jacobsen collection, the mini mugs are extremely minimalist, without handles and therefore versatile. As part of the tableware series, the mugs are just as popular on the breakfast table as they are as decorative tea light holders in the living room, on the shelf or sideboard.
With the candle holder you can also put ordinary stick candles into the mini cups.
