The distinctive numbers that adorn the mugs were designed by Danish designer Arne Jacobsen in 1937. Originally for the internal lettering of Aarhus City Hall, the letters, numbers and characters now adorn a wide variety of home textiles, tableware and office utensils from Design Letters . Modern and playful design for word acrobats, graphic and design lovers.

Espresso mug or tea light holder

Like all porcelain mugs in the Arne Jacobsen collection, the Mini Mugs are uber minimalist, with no handles, making them versatile. As part of the tableware series, the mugs are just as welcome on the breakfast table as they are as a decorative tea light holder in the living room, on the shelf or sideboard.

With the candle holder , ordinary stick candles can also be inserted into the mini cups.
