Cotton comforter cover in floral design
The Unikko Kollaasi comforter cover from Marimekko is made from 200 TC cotton percale. Practical hand openings at the top corners make it easy to change the cover. This product is made from 75% organic cotton and 25% recycled cotton.
Unikko by Maija Isola
Unikko was designed by Maija Isola in 1964 and has become an internationally recognized icon of print design. The founder of Marimekko , Armi Ratia, initially believed that it was not possible to capture the true essence of real flowers in print, which led to the exclusion of floral prints from the Marimekko collections. As a result, Maija Isola designed Unikko as an abstract representation of a flower rather than a photorealistic portrait. Today, Unikko is a strong symbol of joy and creativity that is seamlessly woven into the design identity of Marimekko .
