The designer Hella Jongerius is known for combining traditional and industrial crafts. For her furniture, kitchenware and textile designs, she experimented with new and traditional materials, shapes and production techniques.
The recurring vase motif can now be found on home textiles, as well as on her own ceramic designs. It has now been re-edited by the traditional New York company Maharam as part of the Home Complements Collection,
Within the design series, the designer transfers the three-dimensional shape of the traditional ceramic vase into a graphic pattern and applies it to the cushion in different color variations.
Thanks to the playful design and the graphic patterns, the cushions can be coordinated in color or combined with other cushions and fabrics.
The vase cushions are made of high-quality cotton and recycled nylon with a focus on resourceful material consumption.
Loving details, like the small zip fastener, complement the harmonic design.
Available in different colors.
