The designer Hella Jongerius is famous for combining traditional and industrial handicraft. She experiments with newish and traditional materials, forms and production techniques when she creates furniture, dishes and textile designs.
The returning pattern of the vase is also displayed on home textiles now, as well as on her own ceramic designs. The vases design of the traditional new York company Maharam is re-edited now in the Home Complements Collection.
The designer transmits the three-dimensional shape of a traditional ceramic vase into a graphic pattern, displayed in different colours on cushions.
The vases cushions are produced made of a sophisticated combination of cotton and recycled nylon concentrating on useful materials.
Lovingly details, like the small zip-closure hanger, complement the harmonic design.
Available in different colours.
