Manufactory Carafe
The idea of a wine decanter originated from the Auerberg philosophy to work together with regional manufacturers. First designs were made from paper models and later realised in the Glasfachschule (engl. technical glass school) in Zwiesel. The purist design of the Auerberg wine carafe comes from bulthaup’s head of design Herbert Schultes, whose aim was to make a carafe without handle, which however is easy to pick up even for someone with small hands.
Here, functionality and aesthetics harmonise with each other in its most beautiful form and in combination, provide for a perfect design. The high-quality crystal glass was blown in beechwood moulds giving it its soft, simple silhouette.
The wine carafe has a capacity of 0.7 litre.
