The first sight already shows that the Tela carafe by Hay is something special. The unique production process results in a textile pattern on the glass carafe by Hay.
The aim of the design team Silo is always to give a handicrafted character to industrial and common products. The Tela carafe is a master example of this philosophy: The mouth-blown glass is formed when it is hot inside of a fireproof tissue. This is how the textile pattern with fabrics and seams emerges on the Tela glass. The production process by hand is the reason why every carafe is unique, since not a piece is like the other.
The Hay Tela carafes wonderfully suit the Tela Bowl and the Tela Tumbler of course, out of the Collection by the British studio Silo, designed for Hay.
