Pendant light from hemispheres
The pendant lamp Butterfly by Toni Rie for Frandsen consists of three half-domes arranged in an inverted manner. The spherical shapes of the half-domes create an interplay between the round lines of the lamp. The upper dome has discrete holes to allow the soft light to diffuse upward, while the frosted surface of the lower dome emits an atmospheric and soft light, creating Butterfly makes for great lighting for a variety of environments.
The luminaire Butterfly is available in a variety of colors, all inspired by natural materials and an enthusiasm for the Nordic design language. Toni Rie was inspired by the colors of leaves on trees and reeds on a lakeshore. The colors are slightly matte, giving the pendant lights a soft and inviting look.
