The lounge-armchair Blow is in its appearance and construction a reminiscence on the classic beanbag. Lik this it is made of only a coat and filling material. Because Blow is made of a strong foam, doesn' show the famous disadvantages in stability and seating comfort.

The idea for Blow comes from the wish, to convey and optimate the expensive cushion of seating furniture in a mechanical processen. To do so, the designers turned the production process completely inside out. With Blow the design-duo Johannes Foersom and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen accepted the challenge and turned the production process completely inside out. First the coat is spaned over the model shape and then the foam is sprayed into it – normally the process works the different way, first the filling, then the coat.

On this new way a cheap production of many products is given. The technique is also used for the production of car seats , which are strong, but not hard.

The comfortable and sculptural seating shell of the lounge armchair is mounted in a rotatble plate, through which the whole seating area can be rotated on 360 degrees.

The Blow Armchair is also available on request in other colour versions!
